Originaire de Incheon (Corée du Sud), Yi-Rang Ock commence ses études de piano
à l'âge de 6 ans. À l'âge de 9 ans appartient au choeur d'enfants Nazareth. Elle
obtient son diplôme d'Orgue et musique d'église en 2009 à l'Université de Théologie
de Seoul auprès de Prof. Gumok Beck .
Lauréate des principaux Concours nationaux et internationaux: 1992 Chant 2 Prix
(Corée du Sud), 2012 Joseph Gabler Orgel Wettbewerb 3 Prix (Allemagne)
Lors de sa formation supérieure, elle approfondit l’interprétation du répertoire
d’orgue lors de master class données par Dong ill Shin, Andreas Liebig, Bernhard Leonardy,
Jean Guillou, Johannes Mayr et Christian Schmitt.
Elle est invitée à se produire régulièrement comme soliste et en musique de
chambre et improvisation à Luxemburg, Heilbronn, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Augsburg,
Maulbronn, Wisembourg, Paris, New York, Frankfurt und Metz.
Comme organiste, elle travaille à Songhyun (2002-2008), Oberhöchstadt St. Vitus
