C omplètement surmené, Ryu a besoin de partir en vacances pour s'isoler un peu. Prévue en trois tomes, cette série débute ainsi de belle manière puisqu'elle a le mérite d'intriguer le lecteur et de lui donner une réelle envie de connaître la suite. C'est un point très positif qui permet d'être indulgent quant aux imperfections de l'album.

Si l'idée du scénario semble très bonne et maîtrisée, il faut bien reconnaître en revanche que les dialogues manquent souvent de naturels et que de nombreuses situations sonnent un peu faux, comme au cinéma lorsque les acteurs jouent mal. D'un point de vue graphique, Illona montre un potentiel évident et certaines cases sont parfaitement réalisées. Malheureusement, on retiendra surtout un dessin plutôt statique dans l'ensemble, des visages en général approximatifs aux expressions maladroites et un travail sur les lumières assez hasardeux, en particulier en début d'album.

La marge de progression est encore grande à tous les niveaux, mais le plaisir est bien présent grâce à un récit partant sur de bonnes bases et un graphisme qui ne manque pas de charme. Une série à suivre.
